Reading the Bible Together

Beginning on the first Sunday of Advent, our 8&H church family is going to embark on a new adventure. I’m challenging you to join my family and our small groups in making a commitment to read the Bible together over the next year.

As you might expect, the process is simple. We will have three readings each day, from the Old Testament, New Testament, and Psalms/Proverbs. Each week’s readings will be printed in the Sunday bulletin and will also be made available daily on all the church’s social media platforms. You can also sign up to have each day’s readings sent to your email inbox.
Not only is this a great way to get to know God’s word better, to share in this project as a congregation is a great way to springboard into deeper conversations about what God has called us to be. You can read each day’s readings by yourself, or with someone over coffee, or as a family around the dinner table. Jot down observations and questions you have about the readings and take them to your next small group meeting and discuss!

The project begins on November 27. Go ahead and sign up today to make sure you don’t miss out!
